    Lower Control arm

So my ball joint is torn and the LCA bushings are worn out too. I found this on ebay, are this any good? any recommendations?

I'd recommend getting a new BJ pressed into your existing LCA along with upgraded bushings. Chances are those Chinese bushes and BJ's are going to go bad in short order.

hhmmm... I was looking at Unisa jecs control arm delrin bushing and ES for the front, it's kinda expensive for me right now.

    I may get this BJ's http://www.ebay.com/itm/260821676523...9#ht_755wt_986

If your LCA's aint funked up, just get some Moog BJ's & have them pressed in! Since your at it, dont forget to replace the other BJ as well!

If the ball joint is gone, chances are the rear bushing is to. You can get a pair of complete new LCA's from SAPMOTORPARTS.com for about $137us shipped to your door. And they ship fast from the UK. These are not cheap eBay ones. They are made by a very reputable aftermarket brand. I've posted about these several times. Also do a search for a thread that I posted in about ball joint replacement. Damn I forgot the original poster's ID. If you do a title search for 'ball joint' you'll find it.

A quick question, why do you create a new thread for almost every question you have? Like I said, if you searched you would have found this particular thread I'm talking about and your question would have been answered.

Here's the thread. Took a few seconds to find in a search.

Don't bother with cheap eBay ball joints. You get what you pay for but end up paying/spending twice the time because you'll end up having to replace them sooner than later.

^^ sapmotorparts is the way to go if you are set on just replacing them in whole... I have had no complaints with mine.
New Bjs and some bushings is a bit more work but probably worth it if u currently have factory arms!

Fcp imports has a kit for $253 + shipping.
Never ordered anything for my g20 from them yet but they have group buys on the maxima forums sometimes.
The brand is OE Chassis don't know too much about it but might be an option. I've been thinking about getting that. Maybe some of the more experienced people can chime in. Kit includes

Left & Right Control Arms w/ Ball Joints
Left & Right Outer Tie Rods
Left and Right Inner Tie Rods
Left and Right Sway Bar Links

I remember when when I posted the brand of the LCA's I got from SAP, Quentin Hazell, one of our well respected/knowledgeable UK member (and forum mod) markbutts chimed in and said that they are known as the high quality aftermarket brand.

Before I forget, if your LCA's are in need if replacing, most likely you'll want to replace the upper arms as well. SAP also sells those for ~$126us shipped (based on current exchange rates of the day). Again, same brand as the LCA's and no issues. And several other members have had success with them as well. Again, do a search for posts by me and you'll find a detailed post with pics & how to order them.

We just replace the ball joints with serviceable ones and replace bushings as needed instead of replacing the entire arm.

We made the mistake once of buying the cheap made in china control arm that needed bushings replaced within 2 months of install!!!! ...won't make that mistake again!

The cheap china made ones you got were from eBay. However you replaced those with the SAP UCA's and everything was great.

    Thanks for all the info.

FYI: QSA1742S is out of stock. I think that's the left LCA

What you quoted was my referring to LCAs (not the temporary UCAs we used for 2 weeks!) We will not be ordering SAP LCAs because you can just replace with MOOG bushings (*same as maxima referenced here many times) and servicable ball joints are available as well (no need to replace the entire LCA)

I might just go with moog ball joint. I've searched and it seems like there's no known replacement for the rear LCA bushing yet except for Unisa Jecs aluminum/delrin.

There are indeed LCA bushing replacements for the front bushing and it has been discussed many times here. It is a Maxima control arm bushing that is identical and we have used this many times ourselves (search maxima control arm bushing)

Sorry for poor wording. I know there's a replacement for the LCA front bushing. I was particularly asking for the rear bushing.
