First Upgrades Opinions Wanted !!!!!

Well here is my story. I bought a 91 G20 for my wife in March of 2001 even though she didnt have her license, figured it would be a great push for her to get it. Well she still doesnt have her license but she drives once in a blue. As for me I just call it my car, I mean I drive the thing every day. Well on the 4th month of having my ride the tranny went, boy was I pissed cause I was only covered for 3 months, so I bit the bullet and dished out $1,200. Enjoyed the car for almost a full year before my engine goes. Now I want to burn the damn car, but i hang in there and get that fixed. Took me about 7-8 months but I got my ride back. Now the car feels ten times better then when I bought it, don't know if its because its a jap import or cause it has about 40,000 miles on it. Well since I like the feel of the car I would like to put some work into it. "MY FIRST UPGRADES" but dont know what. So I ask my fellow G20 owners what should I do first???????


Oh and I don't want to get crazy. Maybe a intake or exaust. I would like to get better performance.

the most important question for all these post is how much money do you have so we can have a budget to figure out what mods to suggest..

Pretty good question by Cas and nice basic suggestions by Dsigns... I have a P10 too Casper and I can straight-up tell you to start with these indeed:
-Advanced Timing (19*) - Free mod (if you do it on your own).
-HotShot CAI or PlaceRacing CAI... For cool intake breathing-
-HotShot Headers... To get that air flow going...
-Greddy or Remus Exhaust-... For a finishing touch
-UR Pulleys - Bolt-on - Good Power mod (may be costly)
-JWT cams - Internal - Good Power mod (may be costly)
-Turbo Kit - Bolt-on - Very Good Power mod (very costly)
-JUN flywheels - Internal - Good Power mod (costly)
-B&M Short Shifter... if you have a manual...
