    91 sentra cam in a 99 g20t automatic ???

i bought a 99 g20t the guy claimed he installed a 91 se-r cam i checked timing its sitting between positive 13 and 15 degrees i checked alldata and thats correct timing for stock i was curious if anyone else had this issue my car is a automatic. oops my bad its a lil sluggish at normal acceleration just wondering if anyone does a different degree of timing. i dont have problems with my other 99 g20t automatic and i dont have any pending codes or dtcs

you should not have to play with the distributor. the cam will run fine at stock ignition timeing. also I have installed a 91 intake cam in a 99 g20 for a member and he claimed but dyno gains. car went on the dyno after the install so not sure on real gains. he also had a auto. also during the intake cam install one does not move the distributor at all.

did you scan the ecu for codes even though the light is not on?
