I'll be out in san jose but around 1pm, I assumed most members would be working then and bakersfield is as far south as I'm going before I start to head east.

Going east and hitting up a couple friends in denver only adds about 60 miles to our trip vs taking 80 all the way back.

w0rd. you should take the Old Santa Cruz Highway from Santa Cruz to Saratoga. i took the AZ caravan through there on their way home after WCMIII. nice twisties through hella redwood forests.
actually got a job today, so i won't be off until 5:00pm on Friday (in San Jose). call me if the timing might work.

So looks like I'll be anywhere in between san jose and oakland from 5-7ish, any really good restaurants I should check out?
Oakland? Zachary's, for a good lol (it's good, but you'll lol once you realize what you're gonna eat).
Now if you just take Telegraph up to Berkeley, then you'll find some good stuff near UC. Blake's on Telegraph is cool, good burgers, nice and loud.
