Help me plz

Hey guys so just a bit ago my tranny shifts at high rpm kike its skipping and earlyer i went tothe store and was gonna attempt to do a fast take off brcause there was alot Of traffic and so i stepped on the gas and brake at the same time and my rpms were not going up and i saw i had my tranny in 2nd by the way i have a 99 p11 automattic so i try to go to D (drive) and i by accident i went to reverse and hear something dont know quit what it was but i had my foot on the gas the whole time and then i try going and i have no power i hear my motor reving but no power and a burned oil smell but my oil is fine and no leaks, i let my car cool down a bit and took it for a drive and i got most my power back but ny car is only shifting at high rpms even when i barley have ny foot on the gas, can someone help me with what i need to fix? I know i fucked up or is there someone that can fix mycar for me? Im in 90631

Start looking for a new tranny bro... good time to do a 5 speed swap! It might last awhile.. it might die tomorrow ... gas and brake at the same time on a auto is just asking for trouble.. GL-

If you actually went into reverse while going forward that's not good.... your car would probably be in safe mode (2nd gear) if you broke something.... but it sounds like it isn't from what you said. Your transmission may need to be rebuilt if its acting up. It's way cheaper just to get another one. I happen to have 99 auto trans for sale in socal. Pm me if you are interested

do you still have all your gears including overdrive?

Yeah im pretty sure i do, i havent tride messing with the gears since i just cruised it to woro about 7min drive to work, im thinking maybe the torque converter? My car shifts but at high rpms or if i let go of the gas for a few seconds then press ut again and it will go into the next gear
