    hello everyone! G owner soon...quick ?

Hey everyone. I'm from the sr20deforum.com. I currently have a 91 se-r but I'm looking to get a 99/00 G20T in the near future. I wanted to ask 2 quick questions and search didnt come up with too much. Maybe I didnt look hard enough. heh

    1. Obviously its the same motor as my current car...but the mods I have on my car (CAI, headers, exhaust) will not work. At least not the CAI cuz a G would be highport. Headers n exhaust I'm selling for stock + cash.

    2. I also have a GTIR setup coming to me in the mail in the near future. Fairly simple to install on the G20t like the SE-R??

    Thanks for any replies.

The 99 has the same basic Motor, but the 00~up does NOT....it has a Roller Rocker Motor, and isn't as easily upgraded. Just keep that in mind when you buy it. There are a few roller's that have been turbo'd, but it's not as easy, or so it has been said.....there also isn't as much upgrade stuff for the roller motor's. That said, welcome to the Forum, and thanks for searching 1st!!

It was a 93.5 Infiniti G20 | Mods; '95 Chrome Grille. Got Fogs. '99 P11 Wheels. JDM SR20. 19 degree timing. Gone to G Heaven now, the ABS valve went out, car was traded and sold to a salvage company.
Now it's a 2009 Hyundai Santa Fe SE

Thanks. To get more specific, obviously I have to FMIC cuz of the lowport intake manifold design. I was wondering about fitting of the FMIC, running of pipes, etc.

I've been searching the last few days and I seem to find ALOT of auto's. Its just going to take some time I guess to find a manual.

Running the pipes for the FMIC will most likely just require a bit of custom fabrication... not a big deal if you know a competent shop/person.

There are more automatic G20's than manuals. Just be patient and you'll find the right one. Took me a little over three months to find the right P10 when I was looking for my second one. It would have been even longer but I settled for the pearl white color.

I'm still deciding which car to install the t28 kit too. Either way I hope to have a local guru helper when its time.
