Ebay sucks so much now, those 2 auctions were the first I've posted in months because everytime a seller offers something at a Buy It Now price, there's about a 8 out of 10 chance that the buyer will not pay. There's nothing fun about ebay anymore. It's pretty much impossible to find any deals there now, & there are about 50 times more stores on there than private sellers... I dont know, I'm just not really interested in using it anymore now. On top of all the inflated fees, it's too much of a hassle dealing with bullshit bidders/buyers who don't pay.
I've had a few non payers myself.. it happens.. you relist..
As far as no deals any more.. I beg to differ..
Some of the best deals are things that are mislisted.. (hehe)
..and sometimes it is just timing, especially when someone does a buy-it-now at a really low price.. just snag it up before anyone else can bid
...I constantly miss deals because I can't monitor ebay 24x7 but sometimes I get lucky and get a great deal!
Timing and knowing how to look is key.
For example: On stuff for my Porsche.... I do searches on misspellings like Porshe, Porsh, Porsch, etc. ...and then there is Boxster... I also search on boxter.... For my VW, I search on Volkswagon and volkswagan instead of just volkswagen.
Infiniti is easy to do a search on Infinity (I got great stuff for my former G20 that way)...
