I just picked up some Catz XSL amber Fogs. I want to remove the factory fogs (one of which has already gone on to meet his maker) and replace them with the Catz.

Has anyone installed aftermarket fogs using the factory power & ground wiring (in order to be able to control them from the factory switch)? Theoretically, it should work...right? I shouldn't have to use the relays and crap that came w/the fogs if the stock fogs were hooked up correctly. My shop said it should be ok, but my mind said "check w/the forum first".
