    Primera Competition Clutch

    Hello,

I am about to purchase a Road/Competition clutch from AP RACING (UK) for my P11.

Does anybody on this forum use this on there cars? Or has anyone heard how good/bad this clutch is?

    Regards

    Daminda

i had one, dont go there! i went thru 2 of them in the space of 2K miles, cos right from the word go, the thing never adjusted properly, i even had nissan install them. The pedal was hard, very little adjustment, and in order for you to engage in gear, the cable had to be adjusted that much, it was riding the clutch! DONT DO IT! use ACT or CLUTCHNET. Waaaaaaaayyy better.

    Hi Guys,

    Thanks for the quick response.

I found out that the ACT clutch kit : NX9-XTSS
fits the 95 G20. So i assume this will fit my 95 P11?

Kevin, whats the clutch you use? Is it the same kit?
And where can i order this in UK?

    Regards

    Daminda

Iam using xtss, a little bit too extreme for everyday use. Heavy pedal, but grabs VERY well

    Hi chalun823,

So you dont recommend this clutch for street use? ACT offers it as a street clutch though.

With the XTSS can you shift gears, maintaining high engine rpm? Say around 3500-4000 rpm. How well does it grap then?

    Regards

im running a clutchnet heavy duty pressure plate with a carbon/kevlar disc. Its actually feels really good, almost stock compared to the AP Racing one. The is the unit im using for my turbo application, it has supported just over 18 psi of boost with no slippage. No snappy feel, just feels like the stock clutch but grips like a mother!

dont know where to get them from in the UK as i ordered from the US, but give Jamie a try at www.powertechimports.com tell him kevin/skymera sent you.
