    James lost his JV0 car awhile back when a lady blew a 4 way and t-boned him totaling the car out. He has missed that car every day since it happened
    He bought a 99' QT1 that he was building up but it has been on hold until mid summer comes up and also a 99' EVO that he has been daily driving stock.
    I found another 99' JV0 with cold weather package and only 94k miles for sale so we decided to pick it up and sell his 200k mile 99' EVO car. The new JV0 has no rust,
    was bumped in the front with a bad bumper cover, sunroof was broken, carpet was ruined, but everything else is perfect. We had the carpet and sunroof from a 68k mile
    part car and old JV0's bumper and cover.

    The plans for this car is another stockish automatic build like my autotragic car.


    1999' JV0 P11 base with cold weather package:

    Rebuilt 2000 B15 Roller Rocker with 99' Intake,Ecu, Wiring -
    2000' Sentra cams and 2000' Sentra Head (44cc chamber 9.8:1 CR)
    New Rings, Ball Hone, Nissan Main/Rod bearings, VET headgasket, New Seals

    Rebuilt 2000 P11 Re4F03B with shift Kit -

    We have already picked up the engine and transmission core and are rebuilding them now. Most of the other parts are in the shop or on the way.
    The engine was from a 2000 Sentra SE 5 speed with 187k miles, the transmission was from a 2000 G20 with 160k miles.


    Should be a very nice DD car with better spool up than my GTX car hopefully... Also this is the first try at a 99' convert to B style transmission.

    We have been focusing on the RR engine build but getting the parts have been exhausting... The factory Nissan main/rod bearings were damaged in shipping twice and now have to come from a different dealership since they are a discontinued item. In the meantime I have ordered several sets of ACL race and King race bearings to try to get this part finished. I really like the looks of the King bearings and quality control. I think they will be more consistent than the ACL bearings because we have already seen ACL's differ in size from one to another. The good news is that almost everything including all transmission rebuild parts are here! So instead of finishing an engine up we may just get the tranny built and shift kitted this Sunday.

    Finished up the transmission rebuild and shift kit. Everything is mid to tight factory spec. Bolted up one of the 18" G35 wheels to the autotragic to check fitment. Cleaned/painted the RR B15 valve cover. Cleaned the B15 RR head. I also updated the #1 post with a picture slideshow link, all pictures will be added there so I won't clutter up this tread so bad.
