    Front Engine Oil Seal

I just swapped out the front crankshaft oil seal and drive belts on my 2000 G20 which was fairly easy. The only difficulty I encountered was finding the correct size screws/bolts to fasten the puller to the crankshaft pulley to enable removal. I found some on my spare metric nuts and bolts collection but I have no idea what size they were. Perhaps someone knows so they can post the size for future reference.

I use the cam cap bolts. I can use my tap size to find out if you need.

Thanks for your help. I tried my tap set but did not have the correct size. No need to go through all that trouble taking off splash shields and stuff to try your taps. I thought someone may know the fastener size.

    Thanks

I will be doing this on my sister's '00 soon, so I can get the size if someone doesn't beat me to it.

As Y2KG20 mentioned you can use some camshaft capscrews if you have some available. The factory tech manual does not mention what size to use. There is just enough room to pull off the crankshaft pulley by the way. No more, no less.
