Horn and windshield wiper problem

I have a 1992 G20 and my car horn does not work. My mechanic checked the fuse which was ok and told me it has to be inside the steering wheel which would cost alot. Is there any way to fix this myself?

I am also having problems with my windshield wiper. It stops in the middle of the windshield. How can i fix this? pls help thanks.

Dont know if this is any help, but my horn stopped working after I pressed it lots, then the next day it worked fine.

Also check all the connections, also use a multimeter to make sure a current is going to the horn when someone presses the horn, if it is and no sound it could be the horn itself.

The wipers may be a bad wiper motor or transmission.

My horn also stopped working one day. But strangely enough about an hour later it started working again and I havent had a problem since. Now my cruise control is kind of messed up so I suspect there is a bad contact at the slip ring connection.
