Wink A little taste of Heaven!

So yep I was out playing some golf with my buddies today. As I was coming off my "buzz" I started to think about dinner. I called my mom to ask her to make me a steak and cheese quesadilla. She wasn't home though. It was up to me to get my own dinner. I was dwelling on what I wanted and before I knew it, I had driven by all of the fast food joints in town and was almost home. I decided I'd just make something at home and save my money. So I made myself that steak and cheese quesadilla. It was great. I always love it when I cook for myself, even though I'm not that great. I feel like I accomplished something. I also made a chocolate milkshake and treated myself to a few girl scout cookies. Mmmm................. Mmmmm Just coming of that golf course buzz and making it myself made this meal so good, almost like a little taste of heaven. Don't you just love it when stuff like that happens.

P.S. Some one left a note on my car at school today. It read:

GOTMATT..... No, but I want some.

That's my license plate (GOTMATT). I wonder who would take the time to do that. My friends are gay like that, but it was pretty girl writing. I think it was my friend's ex, cause she saw me in my car, but she says it wasn't her. I wonder who..............?

That's what I am afraid of. My boss just tried to actually. I have actually been keeping a log of all the things he has done that could be considered sexual harassment since the beginning of this year and I am going to give it to him when I leave to move to AZ.

Isn't that the truth? I just wanted to make sure others enjoyed "baked goods" as much as I do.

ha ha..... Ok I'll stop with the jokes now.

Mmm, steak quesadilla...I had chicken quesadilla the other day but I didn't make it myself. Thats cool you did though, you'll need it when you don't know your way around in AZ but when your down here I'll show you around sometime. As for the "baked goods..." I wouldn't know that experience... and with some of the stories I've heard, I don't think I will but one day...(since we're talking about our own cooking...) I basically cooked myself eggs, rice, spam, bacon and pancakes. (Yes I ate it all...eventually...in the morning) Then at lunch I was craving fried rice so I cooked that with the leftover rice from earlier that morning and lumpia. Then for dinner I wanted meat...so I made my pastime fav Hamburger Helper, lol. Then some halo-halo for dessert and powdered donuts with milk for my midnight snack I haven't cooked much lately though so I'm kinda lacking X.X nor do I go to fast foods though either. But thats my exp! ^.^

Wow, now that is quite a days worth of cooking! My goodness. I just made a steak sandwich. It was delicious. No baked goods there, just got home from work. I have been there since 5:30 AM. I had a bagel and a banana for breakfast and never got a lunch break. So when I got off at 2 PM, at least I got some overtime in, I was starving. Great sandwich! Hey Furious, are you offering to cook for me since I wont have my mom around me anymore cause that would be great! But I want real food, no spam creations.

But sure, I'll cook you up something when you get here or I'll take you out sometime And if you stay with Cavern (Jon) I'll bring you two something now and then too since I know he doesn't go out much either Just tell me what you feel like eating and MAYBE ((if I'm in the mood)), I'll make it for you sometime But don't expect "baked goods" lol

Man, I had to cook for myself this semester, apartment living ya know. I can tell ya things get a little creative when you're out of food and money. My room mates and I take turns cooking for everyone every once in a while (they're both from Costa Rica and make awesome stuff) and I basically just fry or grill everything. Anyway this is all leading to my question of what's the strangest meal you've made yourself or eaten for that matter?

I think the weirdest thing I have ever eaten was when I was in 8th grade. We were on Catalina Island and we were disecting a squid. The people in charge of the camp challenged us to eat parts of it raw. I at the lens of a squid eye. Tasted like a little piece of plastic.

    IMAGINE THIS SCENE...
a Evo IX, STI, and a G35x roll up to a location...All the guys would be running up to the Evo and STI... While the honeys are running to the Infiniti... Wanna know why?
Its because Evo and STIs are Guy Magnets... While Infiniti are Panties Dropper.

This came from a Evo driver I met last night....

Ha Ha!!! Oatmeal. I guess it is kinda weird though if you think about it. Take some oats and pour hot water on it. Maybe add some brown sugar or something as a treat (unless you buy the flavored ones like I do anyway).

It's called baloot (sp?). My mom's filipino but she doesn't indulge in this "delicacy" very often.

I don't know how I ran across this thread.
