    The next Bond, James Bond?

    You know, I just heard some horrifying news on the radio. We know Pierce is done playing bond, which is too bad cause he was an awesome agent 007. Anyway, a bunch of names are being thrown around and it looked as though Eric Bana . He could do it, but he just doesn't seem to have the Bond look to me. Anyway, the guy on the radio had mentioned how Mr. Bana looked ot be the next Bond, but that apparantly it went to orlando Bloom. What the hell? I hope he was wrong. I haven't found anything to back that up yet so I feeling a bit better, but a Pirates life is not a spy's life. Can you imagine that young looking face playing James Bond. No way! Its obvious who the next Bond should be, Hugh Jackman. That guy could and should be Bond.

    And then I saw this while searching........ Jessica Simpson as the next Bond girl?! This would be the worst thing ever. She is not SMART enough to play a Bond girl. Bond girls are hot and SMART! Her reputation with that thing they call a TV show on MTV would absolutely ruin the Bond girl status. I am really scared about the next Bond film right now.

    Its all about profiting. they know Orlando Bloom and Jessica Simpson would appeal to the teen girls. Eric Bana would have been cool. I think he's a great actor. maybe Hulk kinna sucked. but if you ever see Chopper in the movie store get it. Im sure all you aussies know what im talkin about.

    Jessica Simpson actually looks like a typical bond girl. As long as her acting is good I dont see a problem with it. Orlando bloom is a really good actor, but you are right, he isnt bond material.

    Hate to say it, but Colin Farrell seems like he'd be a good Bond. He was really good in S.W.A.T., has a bond type look but can still be tough. Reason why I say hate to say it is because for a while he was in EVERY movie. LOL...kinda like Orlando now.

    BTW: No Eric Bana please, he looks like Peja Stoyakovic

    I read something about this...the new bond is supposed to be in college? I don't think that the Orlando Bloom appointment is official...I searched on google and the sources for that didn't look official. IMO, Orlando is handsome, but just not quite "bond-like"...how about Ewan McGregor? maybe they are looking for someone younger.

    Jessica Simpson? yech. although she is brainless enough to play a bimbo..Or should I say, she is such a genius that I'm sure she could act the role properly. haha.

    I agree Colin Farrell would be a sweet Bond. I also read that part about a james Bond prequal bit, like all his training and coming into the job. No way....... I don't want to see that. This serries of movies is too old to jump that far back...... C'mon... But Catherine Zeta Jones as a Bond girl would be sweet. She's hot and can play an intelligent person.

    Ever since I saw the BMW films I have said the Clive Owens should be the next Bomd .... he is perfect. he had got the look and can act He even looks right in the Tux
    And can drive the BMW's .....

    I agree. I'd say Pierce was THE BEST BOND. There I said it. Yes, THE BEST. Everyone likes that other guy cause he was the origional and made Mr Bond, but Pierce stole the show.

    I also think Roger Moore deserves more credit than he gets. He was also a damn good Bond.

    i saw this with all respect to Connary, but wasnt he considered the dumbest bond that got into more trouble than the other bonds.

    Farrell would be cool. he is a lil young i think.
