I'm goin' on a roadtrip!

Just to let everyone know, I'm going to be leaving in the morning for a week.

I will be roadtripping through America's heartland. Going from Arkansas to Minnesota...12 hour drive....first real roadtrip in the G!

I will be spending some long deserved time with my son & daughter, & visiting quite a few friends that I haven't seen in a looonnngg time.

I wish everybody a continued happy holiday season & I'll check in with you guys next year!

I lived in the south loop for a few years back in the late '80's- early 90's.
Traffic was a biaytch! I can imagine it's worse now...

I'm pretty much gonna stay in KS, MO, IA, MN & WI. Then back to AR by next Sunday.

Yep! Driving the G...did a small tuneup today...oil/filter change, plugs, top off fluids, air filter cleaning & tire rotation.

The bike would be ok with one of those fancy leather heated snowmobile suits. & a helmet...LOL

I was @ 621 S. Plymouth Ct. Between Dearborn & Wabash. One block north of Polk & 1 block south of Congress. I loved living in the city. Had 2 1/2 heated indoor parking spaces in my building. One for my GSX & one for my WE-4. I wedged my bike between the 2 cars...

There were sooo many things to do in Chicago...I kinda miss it!
Printers Row, Lawry's, Gene & Georgetti's, Rosebud, Gino's East, walking to events @ Soldier Field, trains to Wrigley or Comiskey, a short bicycle ride to the lakefront, Hell, I could go on & on...but my favorite...
nothing like the sound of stright pipes on a Harley zooming down Wells & hanging a left in front of CBOT on a early Sunday morning, catching all the green lights!LOL

thats sooo awesome... i love how harleys have sucha rumble, my favorite tho is gettin off 90/94 onto ohio st with my brothers fc3s, no cats, pretty much a dump pipe with a bonez racing muffler, at nite u can see the flames shoot out the tailpipe in the rearview
