Code Reader?

hey so i went to auto zone so they could check my codes, so i can see why i have an insanely bad gass millage(~14mpg).

so they took out the code reader and i went and opend the fuse box so he can plug it in that plug and apperently it dosent fit. i have a 92 g20.. do u know where i can get one .. or mebeif that plug in the fuse box is not it..

Autozone has code readers for OBDII 2 cars. Actually i probably mispelled that. The 91-95? are obdii 1 cars. I think* you need an infiniti computer to test the propritary connector on early model g20s

was that connecter ,the right place .. ? in the fuse box and not at the ecu ... i really wanna do i test ,but nissan said it's 35$ to test
