    sealant for door?

While installing my new speaker in the front doors I removed the plastic sheet on passanger door. It's
been off for so long now that the sealant is all dried up.

    What should I use?

Keep water out. There is this really nasty black sticky stuff that holds my plastic around the openings, you can get it at the auto parts store.

you could try the 3M weather strip adhesive, that would probably work good

Tomas - if that black sticky stuff is like the sealant used on other parts of the car (like the taillights) you can probably heat it up with a hair dryer and it'll expand and get sticky again. It'll probably be easiest, since you won't have to replace the stuff.

So when are you getting your license back?

The sealant used on my doors is that grey/brownish stuff seen in the picture. (the outline). It's way to old and thin to use again.

    4months.

I used clear plastic packing tape for my Honda, but then it squeaks, especially in the winter, so there's a suggestion of what NOT to use.
