    Codes 111 and 34

so code 34 im not so worried about. 111 i am
inhibitor switch, and i was doing 65+ in 3rd gear and it wouldnt shift into 4th. this is the p10 by the way. i guess i have to take it to a tranny specialist. which sucks because we bought the car yesterday. any clues on possible problems? ive searched and got a taillight wiring problem, and thats about it

Well Dave had the problem because he wired a Euro-Spec tail lights, check the connection on your CD or just to check: reset the ECU and drive the car without the CD player.

ok so knock sensor replaced, and now the inhibitor switch is messed and my car thinks its in 1st and drive at the same time. so the guy cut the wire to 1st, and the car drives fine now. hes gonna contact the infin dealer in sacto tomorrow to see if they can source a new inhib switch. best part is: the dealer we bought it from and signed the AS-IS paperwork with the day before this all happened, is paying for it all

that's a sign of a stand-up dealer! glad to know he's behind his sale...actually G20's are a very safe bet to back up - some regular wear and tear, replace the torn stuff and they start working like new!
