    PCV Valve Question

Anyone know what PCV Valve this is for?

Napa Echlin 2-9386 this one is too big.

Supposedly from Napa this is for a 1991 G20.

I need a PCV Valve for my Infinity Valve Cover:

    thanks for the help,

This is a bummer because the Napa Parts guy gave me the wrong one.

Not sure why they asked me if it was up to 3/91 or from 3/91. Anyone know what the history is about this?

positive crankcase ventilation valve. lets air out of your crankcase for emissions, by entering it back into combustion.
buy one from nissan/infiniti, aftermarket valve's are crap.

I don't know if it makes a difference but that vc is from a 95. And I swear when I sent it to them it had a pvc in it brand new one at that..

But anyway if the parts guy gave you the wrong one its not gonna fit hehe. Another thing I thought all the pvc's were the same from 90-99?

    VC looks good btw!

Thats correct, however it only lets air into your intake manifold instead of oil which will causes blue smoke out of your exhaust.

    Mike,

Where did you get you PCV Valve from? Do you have a part number?

Napa, Nissan and the Infiniti dealers don't have it in stock. Nissan and Infiniti want $13 for it.

Yep no PCV Valve installed when I got the VC. Thanks again for the VC and yes it does look hot... Only now I kinda wish I got the Yellow one instead... I could have represented the Chargers better if I did.

anyway any help on the PCV Valve would be awesom... the last PCV Valve I had in had was too big.

I pm'd you back. I replaced the pvc after I got the car @ two years ago. I remember getting it from AutoZone but no pn off the top of my head. I'll swing by there later and see what they have for brands & part numbers.

    Mike
