It's not the 92-02, it's the 94-99
They are lowport and have a milder intake cam. The 00+ are roller rocker and can't use the 91-93 cams.
depends on the year, but yes the head flows better as the years go on, plus higport/low port head design is different, then rr changed even more and hey changed the IM
The 91-93 intake cam has bigger cam lobes than the 94-99, meaning longer duration, more fuel getting into the engine, and more power.

Now here's something interesting for you to try to comprehend....
The highport and lowport eZX/eGT have the same cams and the same power. So how you guys get more power than a highport from a lowport with highport cams is beyond me
well nissan changed the desgin of something: the head, intake mani, exhaust mani. something to make more power, but detuned the cam. don't know what they changed.
