LED 194 wedge bulbs!

Hey ok i was tired of the yellow wedge bulbs (right next to the headlight) every time i unlock my car with my viper system. So i went ahead and changed them to PIAAs. The only problem is the store only had LED's in stock. There are 2 lights on each bulb. one blue and one white, so that they mix together. They are really really blue though! I mean i think i like them but im not sure. I'll post pics soon.

Have any of you put just regular hyperwhite wedge 194's? you think a blue LED is too blue? i mean its blue no doubt about it....Also since the bulb is so small and when the headlights are on they look tiny, are there large chances i will get pulled over?

If the package says they are street legal, you have no worries. Post a pic of them if you can, so we all can see how blue they are.

those blue LEDs are brigh tand will deff get cops attention. also IMO they will clash with you headlights and look dumb. if u want a LED in there just get white or a hyper wedge bulb

How do you get your wedge bulbs out. Do you pull them out do you need to twist them. If you twist them which way do you twist them. I can't out how to get them loose.

fat look in the manual im preaty sure they turn to the singal light qnd then they will pop put

also, if they are illegal it depends alot on where you live, i live in GA and they dont ever enforce things like that

fat to let u know its not in the manual i dont think. you have to get hold of them and twist. i cant recall which way, just try until it comes loose. took me a good 25 mins to figure it out.

yah, i have cheapie taiwan LED bulbs all around on my car
WEAK and DIM!!!
I'll upgrade eventually... have a few good ideas for brighter LED's

Well I replaced the wedge bulbs and they look alot better. There very blue for the lableing extreme white. Both bulbs do turn to the right if you looking at hte head on. They are such a pain to get a grip and then twist them.

jeez u went out and got some and installed them in 3 hours? not bad!

Im swappin my LED's for PIAA Hyperwhites. we'll see how they turn out. I figured ill get pulled over with these LED's and id rather get pulled over for tint. My .02

if you "hyper white" LEDS are blueish somethin is wrong because there not sopossed to have a blue tint like regulare wedge bulbs there sopossed to have a white beem. if you want real bright get the 4 LEDs 194 wedge see them here

No, mine are not LED's there just wedge bulbs. That's why there blue instead of white. I think this look good blue and not white they look more HIDish.

i got the PIAAS that still have one white beam and one blue beam but on the box it says "Blue Color". well theyre way too blue so im gettin regular hyperwhites like fat.

At first I didn't like the look. I wanted more of a HID look but with the wedge bulbs being on the bule side it makes things better. From far away it looks really good not to see the yellowish color I strongly recmonded then

yeah that yellow look was bad enough before i changed my stock headlights. now its so damn ugly. i also hate it because when i unlock my car those lights flash and it looks awesome when theyre blue. hopefully it will keep that look when theyre more legal
