    My G is a '96 but on my vin plate under the hood it states 1998!?

    The little silver plate under the hood in the engine bay in my car says 1998 as the year or something but my car was made in 1996. Am I reading something wrong? I don't understand.

    I too had this come up a few months back


    1998cc. Cubic Centermetres = displacement , hence 2.0L
