Arrow Need some advice on cheap, lighter wheels

I am going to def. get the oz superleggera but I figured that I could save some money and put some cheap wheels on that are fairly light weight compared to like the motegis that weigh 20lbs+, in the mean time so I can start working on my turbo setup. If you know of a cheap, fairly light weight and not too ugly please let me know. Much appreciated.

I really like these Axis wheels. I like the VPD's in gunmetal. The NEo's are cool too. Ill probably be getting a set of the VPD's this month. May be worth it for you to take a look at them. They wiegh about 15-16 lbs.

My G is silver. I think gunmetal looks sweet on silver cars. It would look tight on maroon too. I am hoping to order some this week. If I do I will let you know how they look.

What size are you looking at?

Rotas are fairly light and inexpensive.

Don't trust all their numbers, I found a few typos

Axis VPDs are the antithesis of cheap. Strong and pretty light, yes; cheap, hell no. Rotas are an excellent choice, though, and most styles are available in 4*114.3mm bolt pattern. Mach III has a pretty good selection of them, too.

that name sounds familiar, I was on the wrestling team in junior high.... I'll ask some of my friends, thats pretty cool though.
About the wheels I figured why spend half as much on a wheel I don't really want, I might as well go for the ones I really want or I am going to regret getting them in the first place. Im having some weird problems with my jic setup and my wheels catch the fender in the rear every once in a while so my buddy let me put his 195's on in the rear and it seemed to solve the problem. So I think I'm just going to go for the OZ superleggera's.

    how about?

SSR makes the lightest wheel around for the price I think... It isn't gonna be the cheapest but they are cheaper than other outfits like Fikse, HRE and Kinesis!

I'm pretty damned sure that the SSR Comp isn't lighter than the Centerline RPM. I'm also pretty damned sure that there is no SSR Comp with a 4*114.3mm bolt pattern.

    o.k.

you may well be right.... I never looked into it myself...

..but had them before in 4x100 bolt pattern... and then in 5x100...

....I forgot how unpopular the G20 bolt pattern is.. sorry...
