Hyper black or gunmetal P11 meshies

Like the title says, help me decide whether to paint my meshies either hyper black or gunmetal. Keep in mind they're going on an AG2 P10.

Also, recommendations on paint brands would be appreciated, especially since it seems that the hyper black stuff is hard to come by.

What! Only two votes so far?

Come on, fools! I'm hoping to get this done during my winter break, along with another little project I've been planning out...

if it's not PC, then go gunmetal. i don't think hyper black will come out good with rattle can.

Don't want to spend that kind of dough on these wheels, especially sinec I just got new tires mounted on them. I still havent' been able to find hyper black in a can...

By chalkboard black, do you mean like a flat back? I'm thinking chalkboard paint would easily scrape off wheels, no? I like the flat black idea as well.

I think I need to see some comparisons of gunmetal and the flat black. Post some pics, kids!

Looks like hyperblack is taking the lead. But I've been doing some research online and this paint only seems available in large amounts, rather than some simple spray paint. I dont' want to throw down mad bucks on painting these wheels, since they're just stockers.

So now I'm thinking either gunmetal or flat black. Hmmm...

    Thoughts...

I'm a fan of black wheels, but not on red, you should really go bronze or stay silver IMHO. Therefore I voted for the lesser of two evils, gunmetal.

So I decided to go with the gunmetal for my wheels and began the process today. But for trying to cut corners, I made the job twice as long! I decided to go with the aircraft stripper so I wouldn't spend all this time sanding, but the stuff did not go on evenly, so now I have a bunch of these random spots that I have to do some serious time sanding it down to make it even. Fortunately, it was only the two passenger side wheels. I didn't even get a chance to paint them because it took me so long to sand these two wheels down!

I think I'm going to skip the aircraft stripper and clean down the other two with the scotchbrite pad and paint away.

And yes, I know, I'll take photos tomorrow.

    Don't kill the surprise, cabron!

The wheels are done. Wanted to clean up the car and take some photos, but it's suppose to rain tomorrow, so I'm taking dirty ass photos of the car tomorrow.
