Southeast regional championship in south Florida this weekend. I changed divisions and am going for the high overall division title. I've upped the ante and am basically running a stock car in a full race, high power division. I leave 11pm tomorrow night for three days of shooting in the heat. Updates to follow.
I know you guys are tired of hearing me say I'm coming to ATL and then flaking out, but I'm for sure (unless I am dead!) going to be there this coming weekend for The Mitty. My buddy and I are staying at the Super 8 off of I-85 in Lawrenceville.
Hopefully I will be bringing a car home with me!

I'll be flying out of ATL May 5th, and back in May 13th. The outgoing flight is at 5pm, so I might come in to town that morning to hang out if people are going to be around.
I really don't want to leave a car at the airport though, so if I get a ride down I'll be on their schedule.

Managed to get into a wreck in the S14 today, right after showing it to a potential buyer. Taxi slammed on brakes and cut a u-turn. Girl behind him stopped, got run into by the girl behind her, and then I ran under that girl's car. Was going about 15-20mph. Nobody hurt, and very minor damage to the back of the Xterra that was in front of me. We were going 15-20mph at the time. They declined calling the cops and filing a police report, so that's good at least.

Needless to say, I didn't make it down to Atlanta this evening. We'll be leaving out tomorrow AM.

aw, shit.
It definitely sucks, but what can you do.... Shit happens! Oh well, at least I can fix my S13 with the drivetrain from the S14. Probably gonna sell the S14's shell for whatever I can get out of it after I finish pulling what I need. It isn't totaled, but I'm not spending the money to fix it.
So I just saw that it is $12 a day to park a car in the cheapest lot at Hartsfield... WTF!
