I passed a legit smog test with my B14 with a stock airbox, stock exhaust manifold, and stock cat. It actually passed the 1.6L emission levels because the smog tech punched it into the computer wrong. They overlooked the missing EGR this time around....not so sure if I can go there again.

I just picked up my VE yeterday . Today I started the teardown for the rebuild as compression on #3 cylinder was at 170 psi. I already have studs for the mains and the head. Need to order bearings and rings and hone the block. If everything goes smoothly, I will be able to remove my DET and replace with the VE by next weekend. Fingers crossed! SR20VE+T makes for a happy P10!
