    exhaust manifold gasket leak

well i have the power coated header and downpipe off of ebay but its been giving me a rattle which seems to be coming from where the header and the head meet, almost like there is a small exhaust leak or something, anyone know where i can get a better exhaust manifold gasket

    or

if anyone else has any others idea to solve the issue...im ready to just get the header off and add some gasket maker between the gasket and the header to see if that helps any..

yeah..we have a stash of 'em

This is the gasket between the downpipe and flexpipe (not the one right at the exhaust manifold)

can sell ya one for $17.34 shipped (including paypal fees) *(you'll pay $22 shipped from Summit)

get an S15 one from your dealer. I'm running that on my 99, it's a multilayer metal gasket. This is on my turbo manifold but that doesn't matter.
I don't own a G20, but if I did, it would be a p11. Stay sexy my friends.

I fixed a leak in the same place this weekend. I used a regular Fel-Pro gasket from AutoZone and a bunch of copper RTV on each side around the exhaust ports.

I just wanted to clarify the copper gasket I have available and sold by Summit is NOT the bigger gasket right at the manifold but the one after the header connected to the flexpipe (2 holes in this gasket and not 4)

This is why i got a spare of the first 2 gaskets in the car. are all ur gaskets the ebay ones? only that last cat one should be used.the other 2 get to hot and blow.
these ebay headers are a real headache, and these are the better version. lol

yes indeed.. the 2 exhaust gaskets provided aren't the best.. but the one between the header and downpipe is probably the weakest link IMHO
