Just check them. Make sure they're not cracked or split or broken or anything else possibly bad.

My new tranny sitting in the garage waiting to be put in

While i was pulling the tranny off i needed a break bar and forgot mine at home so i used the jdm two piece handle on the wheel barrow

Also one more thing, i talked to two people about this but i thought mabe id post it up anyway. Mabe some else can chime in. The tranny looks as if mabe it leaked on the bottom but im still thinking it could be from when they drained the fluids it got wet and dirt just got stuck onto to from the bottom but just to be sure i was thining about opening the tranny and re-sealing it again while its out. Question is, can i open it knowing nothin will fall out or get outa place?

What kind of lowering kit do you have on this car? It is Coilover?
This goes right up on my "top 5" list when it comes to P10.

That could possibly be the gayest thing you've ever said.

I doubt the case on the tranny was leaking. It was probably a couple of things, like the shift linkage input shaft arm and the axle seals with the drain bolt. I'd replace those. If you do split the case do it with the gear set pointing up and the gears will stay in place.
