I am new with a problem.
Hello everyone my name is mike and I have a 2000 infiniti g20t. I got the car last year and it recently started to act up on me. Check engine light came on and I tested. I was given a code p107 witch was my mass air flow sensor. I changed it and it still gives me problems. Check engine light still on, still have to restart a lot due to no power, in park and in neutral it won't hold an ital at 1500 rps. It drops in rps and raises real fast. What should I do?

did you reset the ECU after you installed the new MAF?
if not than the car doesnt know whats goin on. take it to
advanced auto and have them reset your ECU. did you buy
a new or used MAF?

what kind of maf did you use?a RR one right? NEW/old ? did you check the wiring to make sure its ok? Still the same code? check the intake for cracks or splits? just trying to throw some stuff out there. The ecu dont lie its a maf problem somehow.

i had a code for a maf on my 00 p11 and believe it or not i changed my t stat and it went away(i tried cleaning the maf and looked for leaks etc first) i had a bad idle too.
my theory is: the maf must use a temp sensor that uses the coolant sensor as a reference. if the temps dont coincide, you get a bad idle cause it thinks your gettin more/less air than you are cause the temp is worng (PV=nRT universal Gas law) and the system thinks the maf is bad.

^hmm crazy....T stat may be a good place to start then.
