I just called a shop not to far from were I stay at, and I asked how much will it cost to get a bb sr20det and I 5 spd tranny swap on my car and the guy told me it would be 6500 for everything including labor so what do you guys think on the price? oh and my car is a p10 automatic, so feel free and let me know what you guys think
id pay that. but that's just because id never do it again after this mess im in now.

well then sell the auto p10 and buy a well built 5spd p10 det from a member here and pocket the extra $$$$ you save, you can find a good p10 with a running det for ~4-5000

I would also say to either upgrade to a P11 or get rid of your P10 auto and find a manual. You'll save yourself A LOT of money, as oppossed to your idea.
better sell your P10 auto and buy manual. less hassle and less money spent. save your money for mods.
yeah that's what I was thinking sell my auto p10 and look for a manual p10
