    Gas Mileage

Hey guys I just drove my 1994 g20 from Minnesota to Colorado. and I just wanted to report my gas mileage because I think it is pretty good.

From: Duluth, MN to southwest minnesota. This was my first tank
    1st tank = 402mi.
2nd tank = 426mi. (I think this one was greater because I was doing 75mph on I-80 all across nebraska!)

By the way, nebraska sucks, anyone that has to do that drive I understand. hahaha.

And then I filled up again and was home in 200mi. and I still have about a half tank left.

What kind of Mileage does your car get?

I just drove my G from Utah to Alabama and was averaging 28-29 mpg (using a variety of different brands of gas) with about 700 lbs off stuff in the car. And I feel ya, Wyoming and Nebraska are the 2 worst states to drive through in the whole US (if you are driving on I-80 that is).

We drove from LV to ME a year ago in the Spring, 93 1/2 auto, maxed out with luggage and 3 adults, ave. 85 mph in the desert, 75 elsewhere, were getting like 32 mpg.

Drove down to San Diego, around the city for a few days, and back to SF.

3 people + trunk/passenger seat full of stuff.

    A hair under 30 mpg.

When it's all highway 375-390 before the light comes on. 320-350 in mixed driving. So about 25-30mpg, my light comes on after the car has burned through 13 gallons.

It depends if you have EZPass or not (when I-95 becomes a parking lot).

I've gone from Kyle's house (Chandler AZ) to my house (Lennox CA) on one tank on the p10t.

Thanks again to Jon, Kyle & Justin for recomending leaving even later going home, I had one of my BEST DRIVES evar that night & even drove about 35-40 miles with the cruise set at 90mph. This strech of WB I-10 was before the decend into Quartsite AZ. from that point & before.

I hate people from the desert that can drive fast all the time and whose cars don't rust.

if it makes you feel better, I got pulled over in that same strech of road, going WB too driving my brothers 07 Toy Avalon. I was honest with the AZ Patrol officer & he let me off with a warning.

Also, my 94 p10t is a RUST-FREE car originally from the NE area & has been living it up in SoCal since 1995...

idk, I rather deal with Earthquakes, Wildfires, Mudslides, Floods, Heatwaves, Monsoon Season, Traffic, Smog, Paparazzi, Riots & Inglewood PD shootings (killed 4 unarmed ppls in last 4 months) than to tough-it-out a NE Harsh Winter.

-Talkin the effects on the CAR (and working on it), not SoCal social problems...

Lets see, we got ice storms, economy sucks, murders (mostly DV) up, major energy crisis (most heat with oil), roads/bridges in bad shape, red-tide, health care sucks. etc. At least you have Arnold.

One of the biggest social problems we have here in ME is folks moving in from West Coast and bringing in their big city money and attitudes.

And let me tell you, inching along on snowy/icey roads doesn't do much for your mileage.
