I will say the meet I threw in AZ was fantastic. I laid out a good spread of food, my house was massive, it was hot but my pool felt great.
Great turnout, the BBQ turned into a pool party in the eve.

Oh yeah, I fed the boys pancakes the next morning then Stealthed Krists corners. So that being said it was also a wrench meat. Remember Chuck falling thru the chair...

lol.. lots of GTG local meets work out nicely I think..

Steve has had some nice meets at his place last year and this year we had 24 people at peak show up for the 1st one we hosted so we are hosting a 2nd gtg...

heck, maybe we will host a gtg in AZ when we are down there between xmas and new years (but we don't have a pool.. too cold for a pool in dec/jan anyway so no matter)

I'm down for a meet up in SLC, I've got family there. Free lodging to all NWG20 members would be a bonus. I've heard great things about Miller Motor Sports park.

THERE IS ROCKWALL, TX. THE NIGHT LIFE IS AWESOME AS WELL, GREAT HOTEL ON WATER FRONT. IT WAS VOITED 1 OF THE 10 BEST CITYS TO LIVE IN THE COUNTRY. NOT BAD! RIGHT? DID I SAY, THE WEMON ARE F’N BEAUTIFUL? IF THAT’S NOT TO YOUR LIKING, THERE IS A PLACE OUT IN GRAPVINE, TX CALLED THE GAYLORD. LOOK IT UP! IT IS AN AWESOME PLACE. THEY JUST HAD” QUAKECON” THERE (WITCH WAS AWESOME) NOT SURE HOW MANY BARS ARE IN THIS PLACE, BUT U CAN WALK ANYWERE YOU LIKE WITH YOUR drink of chose. Sorry about the all caps. Just notes it. I’ll stop there. There are so many places across the country to go to. It will take some good planning to get something like this off the ground, none the less! It is a great idea. I’m in wherever/whenever it may take place. Granted I have founds to do so.

It's after the fact, but at least it's documented.

i'm willing to drive as far as Texas. make it somewhere cool, and i'll go.

too bad this meet doesn't draw real commitment like VA Beach.

It was easy for an ALL JAPAN meet because the country is smaller. Why don't we see where everyone is from. If there are more east coast then it will be closer to the east coast and vice versa. Theres no sense in having it where no one is from.

if it's round march-ish time, i'd be willing to drive across a couple of states to get there.

why stay at hotels along the way, when you've got a car...

because when you get older and you are out of shape, the seat belt latch doesnt feel so good in your back while you are trying to sleep, and it doesnt compare to a bed and a bathroom with a locking door.

I'd guess if San Diego area had the densest populations of G's, you and all the east coast peeps would show? Of course not. There just flat isn't a heavy population of G's on the west coast. That means if we want one we can attend most all of us have to do a lot of driving. I'm sure not going to plan one 2500 miles away. Put in the effort if that's what you want.
