    Drove an Acura TSX

Just to see how it compares to a G20, I drove a new TSX yesterday.

The car is a bit bland (undertstated) looking, but it sure is a good drive.

    200hp from 2.4 liters
    3230lbs
    4wheel dbl wishbone susp.
    6 speed manual
    Very nice black leather interior

    It's a shame that Infiniti couldn't see a continued market for a small, european-style 4cyl sport sedan.

I hate to say this, but as wonderful as the G35 is, it's juts too big for those of us who like a very agile, light, backroad burner.

Have you driven a G35? It's one of the most agile cars Ive driven in a long time.

I drove one too. Can you believe that Infiniti thought that there was really no market for a four-cylinder entry level FWD luxury sedan? Cars like the TSX make me rethink Infiniti's decision to can the G20. Sure the G35 is great, but there is still room in the Infiniti lineup for a TSX killer...

Its a little late for that idea. They've moved on to the P12 now. One ugly vehicle...

really? that sucks. i really think the p11 is classy sporty. it just needs a little more power to back up the looks.

i think that new primera they got is pretty ugly. it isnt the same thing is it?

I also like the g35, but it's too much for me... I've had over 20 tickets since I've been driving.... Only 2 in the last 3 years though, but still, I have a heavy foot.. what can I say.. and I know if I got a G35, I'd well be on my way to a 30 ticket mark.. The reason I love the G20 so much, is because it's everything I need! I can make it get up and go if I really want to, but other wise, it's just a very nice, fuel efficent, well handling car... But Infiniti looks past that, and thinks all Americans are typical, and want bigger... even though its not true... would you say it's safe to say, (not counting SUV's, cars only) of all the cars on the road, 40% of them are 4 cyl. cars? All I ever see it seems is 4 cyl cars... Civics, Jettas, Integras, v4 Accords, Sentras, you know all these little cars.. Granted there are a lot of 6 and even 8 cyl. cars, but, keeping with my question, I would only estimate 60% of the cars have a 6 cyl or bigger... that even may be a high est. too! I just don't know why, as 4 cyl cars get more advanced as they clearly are (RSX is a prime example) with more hp per cyl. why does it seem the companies are pulling away? Just as they're gaining popularity... I strongly disagree with Honda, well, Acura's decision to stop production of the Integra as well.... Just don't understand....

I mean, I can see potential for it, but, as is, in that picture, nasty, nasty like a hurricane... But, with some 18's, some nice tint, a Skyline style spoiler and a 3" drop, it'd probably look ok, but still, no accounting for that front end, I do hate that frong end...

Found this on Google for a wagon p12, which looks like the other one I found, though I couldn't find any that looked like the one you found mmead16116.... maybe cause we're in the states, we're not using the propper term, and both are technically P12's but they have different years and body style changes amongst them?

i think that might be correct.i think there is even a 3rd style for the p12. its a good thing that thing isnt coming to the states. if infiniti really wanted to boost sales of the p11, they would add an available DET to the line-up.

I know, why didn't they? Weird.. not like Turbo 2.0 is some crazy hp engine, you know? Look at the WRX, it's sellin like mad!!! I would have easily paid another 3-4k for a factory, warrantied turbo...maybe they just didn't feel that a turbo engine goes with the "luxury" thing...
