    2000 egr removal

I was wondering if anyone has done this on a 00 and it if it worked without the code I know you need a block off kit and a 100 ohm resistor but if it kept the cel light off without any other problems

come on i know someone has tried this and want to know how it worked out for them i
like i said i know the whole process in doing this but all of the posts seem to be about the earlier egr setups which is different in the 2000+ and im tired of my egr leaking ever since i put my new header in that fuckin pipe from the header to the egr wont reach right so i had to bend it and it wont seal right i even bought a new pipe and tried to do it again without bending and just had to bend it again soooooooooooo I want to delete this shit and seal up my system so theres no leaks some info would be great

i unscrewed the egr pipe in the back to give it more play and then slowly tightened it on both ends, no leaks

get a aem fic and fly me out to you and i build you a egr analog map to compleatly simulate the voltages to the ecu that the temp sencsor would report in a perfectly functioning system

i have yet to 100% compleat this but have been working with the fic and i beleave it is the best option to pasiing with no egr.
the only resone it would not is if you diconect the valve its self are do not set the map up right.
i fully under stand what the ecu is checking and a hgh res map feeding it all it whants to see is the best way i can ever thing of you passing. ig you egr valve gos it may are may not pass I had sean alot of rr egr stick open cuaseing shit runeig of the car but if the tubes are blocked it will not hurt. if is all as simple as bloking and not unpluging anything.
if some one local with roller rocker want to boost i will creat such a thing and make plug and play harrenesses that tie into the temp sensor and car correctly but i will paward protect the map. resone is im not a sponsor i dont have the money and nore benifit but i dont want to release the map to just anyone if some one piad for me to be a sponcer than i would release the map at that point so olnly sponcers can have it as long as they did not give it away to other comercial shops.
i know you worry about emisions but i worry about my hard work getting cars to pass but another shop steeling my idea
when infact i do get someone that wants to give it a go it will be pasward protected and i will give the pasward to only trusted members to keep another shop from profiting from this.
i dont want this to sound wrong but i dont want a shop to find what i can do and end up building a car with what i know and make it in a magazine are something and comercually sell my knowladge.
if i sent you such a map and harnness i would recomend you keep it to you
agian passing emisions is keeping the light off and all srts pass correct? im very cuirtian i can do this

usually if your egr is leaking you will get a code. if not you can usually hear them they are pretty nasty when they leak

I used a nickel to block off my egr and dealt with the code for a while...Then I got a SHig shim and cheated the pipe bend A LITTLE BIT. Nice and snug now, and no code.

I cut the pipe and put a rubber hose to connect the two. This gave me the play I needed to get everything snug.
I don't own a G20, but if I did, it would be a p11. Stay sexy my friends.

I did the cutting the pipe and used a hose but the hose just melted after 5 to 10 thousand miles where do I go to get the shig shim I'm also thinking of cutting an older egr line and welding it to the size needed I will post if it works out but I still would rather delete the shit

Mine is most likely melted by now too . Was good enough just to pass emissions.

To this day I haven't seen anyone successfully delete it on a RR engine. Mike says he can do it so he may be the only person that can. You can also check b15sentra.net as there was a guy on there who said he did it with a combination of resistors.

The way i can is feeding the ecu in temp cuircit the raw volatage in values it wants to see.
when your values are correct than their is no possible way for the ecu to know other wise
im really interested in setting this up for some one locally .
if they buy the mateareial I will install and set up for a very low cost but if you want a tune on the car than I can t save you on that cost very much lol if get you on the dyno than the shop owner want s money cuase its not my dyno

This may have been addressed before... but if you use a B14 ECU, can you use the resistor trick on a 00+? OR if you are using a Calum or EManage, can you just remove the EGR Check all together and still pass the "plug-in" emissions checks?

ho much does it cost to run a b14 ecu in a p11? think about that. also you know evap systems and shit are not working right be cuast ov systems on car but ecu not controlling them. you might say feck it but latter plains and something acting screwy that you are not sure about could give you one hell of a fialure are mabe even a car cuaght on fire

in some states if the ecu is happy long enough and the egr is last pending they will pass you. now with emanage i can not assure you can do it but i have not done it but know almost 90% that with a boosted aplication and no egr i can build a map to feed the ecu what it wants to see checking a normal egr system.
lets say you get the car runnign with no codes on a b14 are p10 ecu that you can comunicate with obd2. now you have to get rid of all the codes and know somethig like evap system needs to be delt with at that point see how much money you have spent and time putting and extanginging parts into you car you never had just to make it reliable. something tells me a piggy back and are custom moding the intake to exept the 6 pin iac system in a roller rocker and eiither spoffing the egr are runnign it is easyer but both are gong to cost you. my line of thinking is best for the car and all its functions. just recuirse some foab work are makeing the origanal ecu happy. i know and understand what the ecu wants to see but if you want to have a swap and go balss out you are going to have to pay up to do it

Why do you want to get rid of the egr?

He may have a header that doesn't have an EGR bung.

removal of EGR could also be to clean the bay or because his EGR is not functioning correctly and removal more cost effective.
