careful cause the 2002-2003 specV rim and the 2004 specV rims were both 17" so saying the 17s fit may confuse people who don't know the difference between the spokes. The 04+ are flat spokes and the 02-03 are more of a dished spoke (hard to explain but if you search around for 2002 vs 2004 specV stock wheel photos you'll understand and see what I'm talking about) |

thanks for the spec v's rob brembo's will be in the future of the p10.. thats why i didn;t need them sport rims lol. If you need brembo's in the future i can get them from Nissan for a pretty gooood price.. about 400 brand new.. just for calipers though.
If you want a nismo strut bar i got it.. i think im going to keep that nissan strut bar and take out the hood latch and put up gas shocks for the hood. Let me know.. |

Read that carefully. As for brake clearance.... the only two things that matter are: 1) outside diameter of caliper (i.e. how far out the caliper is from center point of hub to determine minimum inside clearance of wheel), and 2) SPOKE DESIGN ON WHEELS. I don't care what offset what width, the ONLY thing that matters when clearing brake calipers will be the design of the spoke of the wheel. -alex |

you NEED the calipers(with internal hardware),rotors, brake pads.....the bolts from the p11 work just fine......you also NEED wheels that will clear.....also youll need to cut the dust shield off the car because the spec rotor will hit it.....i tried trimming mine like 3 times and just came to the conclusion i need to just cut it off...trimming it just wont work.....it needs to come completely off....other than those things its a bolt on affair.....not to say you spend more on braided lines but they are not a necessity.

From what I recall, `02-`03 SPEC-V 17's will not work with the Brembos unless you run spacers. The Brembo setup came on the '04 - '06 SPEC V's (which are 17 X 7 and not "dished" like a previous poster mentioned).
If you want to stick with your '02 Sport rims, you're better off getting the WILWOOD setup. Honestly, IMO, if you're just running on the street as a daily-driver, you really don't need to swap out the setup. I would save that money to improve the performance of the motor, get some coilovers, and stiffen the chasis. |

the brembo brakes was a $2000 option on the 04-06 specv (which in my opinion is not worth it) the whole setup was different than the non brembo, the rotors were 1in bigger in diameter (front and back) and only the front calipers are Brembo. also only the 04-06 wheels fit over the brembos due to the spoke desing and offset (+48 on 04-06 vs +35 on the 02-03)
