I know you said that you need to have the wheels on the ground in order to finish tightening them, but wouldn't it be possible by placing a jack underneath the control arm and keep lifting it and that will simulate the pressure needed in order to finish tightening them? When we were re assembling my car we got stumped on a section of the FSM that said the car needed to be at curb weight in order to tighten the ball joint, so we put the jack underneath the control arm an lifted it and it worked like a charm!..It's in SU-14 of my P11 FSM.

I'm not 100% positive that what I said would work in this case, but it is something to think about for those of you who have lowered cars.

and where did you do the install? your kitchen, the vinyl flooring looks like its out of my parents bathroom, bless their hearts.
