Window Tint on G20

Hey everyone so I just got a G20 and I'm going to get my window's tinted tomorrow. I'm going to see Vincent at Omega Tintwerks up here in Livermore/Pleasanton in Norcal. I will definitely post some pics but I need your opinions.

Car is pretty much stock right now except I will be getting some wheels and tires soon too. Paint color is EV0.

So the question is, what percent tint should I do?

Options I'm considering are:

30% All Around

30% Fronts, 30% Backs, 20% Rear 20% Sunroof

30% Fronts, 20% Backs, Rears, and Sunroof

20% All Around

I want it to look clean but don't want it to be too light. I live in Norcal if it matters.

Check the laws where you're at. You wouldnt wanna go to dark & have to take it off due to a ticket.

Get them all done the same, and go with the darkest allowed by law.

Well the law in Cali says that we cannot tint the front windows at all but I've come to peace with that. On my last car which was a 2001 VW Jetta GLX I had 35% Fronts and Backs and 20% Rear and Sunroof. The only problem I had with it, was the Backs didn't seem to be dark enough for me. But I do like a consistent clean look. So I'm stuck at a crossroads, but thanks for your thoughts.

Mine are like that with 35 in the front and 20 in the rear, and I wish they were the same.

Yea I hear you. I have a feeling I will feel the same if I don't do it the same all the way around. The real question then is would you 35% All the way or would you do the 20% All the way??

Thanks for the tip but I'm not into the Gangsta look. Has anyone had their tint done by Vincent from Omega Tintwerks??

sux for yall, no one in SC cares, everyone has 5% all the way around

Yea it does suck but thats the risk we take. Anyone have any opinions on percentages or Omega Werks??

Go with 30% all around. I'm going to do 15-20% all around unless i can get some jdm green tint. Just don't do darker in the rear, i don't like that as much. Cops don't usually mess with us family sedans here in the bay.

ive had two tint tickets so far for my 20% one was like 50$ and the one i just got was 250$.....he originally wrote me a warning but i opened my mouth and the ticket stuck.....it is what is....gotta pay to play.no mon ,no fun.

Thanks guys for everyone's opinions. I actually just got my car back this morning and I decided to do 30% Fronts and Rears and 15% Back Window. Left the sunroof stock. I will post the before and afters asap. Oh and for the record Vincent at Omega Werks was well worth the money and wait. One of the best if not the best.

i used vincent when i lived in norcal. Is he still in that small ass shop?

I don't know if he's in the same shop because this is the first time I have used him. I know he had a different shop once in Livermore, He's now in Pleasanton though.
