Lighting & Headlight Questions

ok so I have a p10

Problem:
I really don't like the visibility I get from my headlights I think they flat out suck, & I drive a lot on country roads & with animals especially deer & the occasional cow haha visibility especially on the sides of the road is essential! especially high beams! but also low beams when their are other cars around.

What I've done already:
I put in factory fogs & aimed them up & to the side as much as I could & that helped but still frustrated, I've tried aiming & adjusting the headlights but still not satisfied, & I have bought expensive halogen bulbs but not much of a change. & i want white light so for hid I would want between 5000k and 6000k

My questions:

1. Is their anything else that Im missing that I can do before modifying a bunch?

2. I'm looking into hid and my question is how do the bi-xenon generate the high beam, is their 2 beams at once or like the factory bulbs one brighter beam?

3. I've looked into modifying my headlights & getting projectors & putting one in the factory headlight & putting it as close to the front of the headlight as possible (to get the greatest width form the beam of light without it being blocked by the factory headlight walls) & I know that their are cut offs in the projectors so how do high beams work?
-buy another projector to do the high beam?
- or will it work the same as factory do?

If you could help me out that would be great!
Thanks

what are you coming from that has so much better lighting then the p10? Reason I ask is because I never seem to have had an issue with it. You will not get visibility to the left side of the road without a spotlight or blinding oncoming traffic. To the right you should be able to light up that side.

If you go hids I say 4300k 35watts, or 55watts but 5000k is the limit in color temp I would do so you can get more of the super white going on. Just my input.

p10 uses a 9004 bulb you could always do the 9007 conversion. if you dont want to go HID....just a option.

well every car I have been in it lights up the road a lot better, my headlights don't light past the shoulder on the right side, I don't expect the lights to cover a 180 degree area but better than what I'm getting now

well, it's because you have a p10 kekeke, p11's ftmfw!

but yea, if you want to light up the road, look into hid's... just got pure white, don't do blue..or you'll be a cause for attention

Dark purple?

Might look cool, but you can't see for sh*t.

neil, the cheapest and easiest (least amount of work involved) fix would be the 9007 conversion.

ok so for the 9007 conversion is it the same bulb base so i can just buy the bulbs and just plug them in or is their slight modification that needs to be done?

9004 to 9007 conversion involves a few simple steps. 1. the 9007 bulb is slightly different so the headlight needs to have a little tab cut or broke out. unless your HL are JDM or rare then it doesnt really matter...looking at a 9007 bulb you can tell what tab needs to come off...you can still use the old 9004 bulb if you want to go back....so the bulb is in place....now all you need to do is swap 2 of the 3 wires going into the bulb...so you have to hack your harness or make a fancy jumper basically. thats all that it really takes...been so long i cant recall what wires it is you swap but its because the bulb is different so it needs the power different. easy mod for older cars. light output really is increased(not HID though) especially with the jump in technology in bulbs.
