Sr20ve w/N1 Cams and keeping stock springs and retainers OK?

I have a Ve motor and was just wondering if this is a safe route. I will be getting N1 cams but do not plan on switching out my retainers and springs.

I am running a DE ecu so I could only rev up to 7500K..Ive read that this set up will be safe if I dont pass 8k rpm's...

What do you think? My de motor was still good and it had 278k hope the same for the VE

I found the answer.

It is safe to keep stock Ve retainers and springs as long as you do not exceed 8500k rpm's...be careful and do not over rev or set rpm's at 8k..
