I'm not sure, take pictures and post results. It depends on how thick the washers are.

After you install the washers, the entire door is closer to the b-pillar. It is possible that if the top hinge were worn too much that the washers would position the door so that it couldn't close (it would hit the back door). I've never seen that happen though...

This seems to be a common problem on a lot of Nissans...the Maxima/I30/I35 are prone to this too.

I picked up two 1/16 inch thick washers and put them between the lower door hinge, one on each bolt. I've had the washers in the car for six months, but have just be either to busy or to lazy to get it done. All it took was a 12mm wrench and thirty seconds. This fixed the problem I've had with sagging door hinges. I've put up with it for years and I decided today was the day. It worked perfectly the door lines up great it even up the gap between the door and fender.

If anyone has saggy doors I highly recommend this 32 cent fix.

I went with the even cheaper route and jacked up my doors and re-tightened down the bolts. Worked like a charm

Not so fast. Most old Chevy's have the hinge welded to the body, well my K30 and my parents suburban are welded. If that is the case you can go to any auto parts store and buy a hinge rebuild kit. It is usually a bushing and a new pin.

Awesome. The washers sure are better than having to install new hinges.
My bro also did this to his P10 as well.

Is there one or the other that usually goes bad (top or bottom)?
I only bought the lower thinking it was the one bad. Wondering if I need to order the top one and just do both at same time.

Let me know your thought's please.
