bulb or ballast - G20.net

Well my drivers headlamp dont work, I put on the lights and it flicker and it cuts off, the passenger side lights rite up, I have Hid's on my car. Is it the bulb?

your description sounds like its the ballast.
you need a multimeter, to see if your getting power after the ballast.

swap bulbs.

couldnt you just switch bulbs or ballast and find that out? but yeah i think its the ballast too if its going on and off.....

around 12v DC.
easier to just swap bulbs from the other side.

mine does the same, could this be caused by a bad ground causing the ballast to go out?

yea i had the same problem, it ended up being a bad ground try that first

I don't know which wire to check,bought the car with the hids installed

I checked the ballast, it gets power then dies.
