There is indeed something unique about the 99 Touring Automatic trans.

There was someone here in chicago who went through 3 transmissions (all weren't working properly) until he finally got one from another 99 G20t and then it worked GREAT.

You will indeed need to find an LSD 99 automatic transmission.

I believe they changed sensors and other tidbits in the 2000 to 2002 model based on the problems Bill here in chicago had with other year trans he thought could work but the plugs didn't line up and other issues.

P11s have a hydraulic clutch though, I don't know if a P10 tranny will be a direct bolt on to a P11. Another thing is all 94-96 P10s are OBDII.

99 G20Ts are OBD-I, I think. They're definitely lowport though.

And as everyone has stated above, you will need a 99T LSD auto tranny.

uh.. what?

all 99 G20s are OBD2 (not obd1)

...99 is still 140hp with normal 16bit ECU.. whereas 2000 to 2002 is 32bit ECU and Roller Rocker engine (oil filter in different spot, difference VC and cams, etc.)
