im confused, my dad took my car in to get the clutch replaced, the dealer claimed that when i replaced my airbox with a cone that i burnt up a sensor, im guessing the temp sensor but they didnt clarify which one and now my dad is about to beat my ass cuz it cost him an extra $300. does that price sound right

If they replaced the MAF sensor, yes that seems about right. If it's just the air intake temp sensor, that seems kinda high. What was it doing (or not doing)? Was the motor not running right in any way, or throwing a check engine light?

ya it was the check light but the engine was running fine. i figured if it was the MAF the engine would be running lean but it was fine before we took it in besides the clutch slipping
