I did a search on the forum but I didn't really find an answer to my question.
I have a 93.5 G20 and was wondering if I could benefit from a 91 intake cam. What exactly is the difference between high and low port motors, as far as how it looks from the outside, just so I could tell. On my motor the throttle body is located way down low, not towards the top of the motor, is this a low port ? AAnd also I apparently do have an AIV. Thanks in Advance

You should have been able to do a search on this, but here is the quick and dirty.

LOW-port: The throttle body is up HIGH and NO AIV
HIGH-port: The throttle body is down LOW w/AIV

You will not benefit from a '91-'93 intake cam swap because you already have the same one.

When was your car manufactured? Date?

I have no clue exactly the date of manufacture, I checked the drivers side door and under the hood and the info is not there. Where else could I find out ? Maybe the infiniti dealer through the VIN # ?

The VIN# position 10 will tell you the model year but not the month.

N-92
P-93
R-94
S-95
T-96

The date of manufacture should be located in the drivers door on a Nissan Motors Corporation sticker. It is a white sticker affixed to the frame of the car, not the door. Unless your car has been repainted or something like that.
