I just bought a 95 G20. There is a A/T switch with Power and Comfort positions. What does this do to the transmission (automatic)?

Does is change the 'shift gear' RPM point?

TIA

I wonder if that can be adapted to the P11? As far as I can tell the US 1999 P11 usse the older P10 RE4F03A and RE4F03V transmissions while the US 2000+ P11 use RE4F03B and RE4F03W. Hmmm...

Yeah that's just like the ECT mode I had in my old 4runner. It would usually shift 1k higher...which was great. Would be great to have one in my P11 (instead of disconnecting the AT shift sensor thingy in the bay...).

Thanks for the replies and sorry for the double post. The detail of the answer is much appreciated. I am a software engineer and I am very interested in this line of cars. (I make this car stuff a hobby)
