Little bit about me my name is Jimmy and I've loved and owned Hondas my whole life till recently when the deal went sour on my last car and I wasn't liking the direction the whole community was going I decided to make the jump and bought my first ever none honda vehicle, last week a black 2000 g20t was posted on Craigslist and within the hour of it being posted I went to go look at it and bought it later that day it has 118k on the dash black leather interior and a must it's 5speed I will be posting pics of it later today as I am on mobile don't know how from mobile. Excited to see what the g20 community has to offer!

be honest. g20 is slow right? this it the very 1st thing i noticed when i got my 1st g20.

neways....... if you need jdm goodies from bumpers, hoods, seats, turbo, ve... im just an email away

although its not very quick, especially with the ac on going uphill (holy shit it sucks) i love the p11. one of the best cars i ever had comfort and reliability wise + jdm goodies installed.

Haha it's not that bad a lot of luxuries I'm not used to have like power everything especially power steering but hey thanks for the warm welcome do look forward to getting some black housing xenon lights in the future!

I too came from the Honda scene, it got way outta hand.
you'll learn that your p11 stock handles better then any Civic or Integra

Haven't really had the chance to do much to it yet cause the weather over here on the east coast has just been so wonderful, but something doesn't feel right in the front it was clunking cause the sway bar was missing a bracket and bushing replaced that but something still doesn't feel right clunking went away though and it also needs 4 new rotors and pads, but for $1700 I'm not complaining at all cars amazing so far way different.

get some good slotted rotors and hawk hps pads, along with some ss braided brake lines. one of the best things ive done to my car

Pennsylvania doing research on possible mods and things to do to it ill update the thread when i get home from work with pics of the car and some pics of my previous cars so you guys can see what i been working with!

the guy that sold me the car included a box full of parts such as rotors, pads, wiper motor and assembly couple of other maintenance things just with this weather i cant do much haha everything Nissan/infiniti is still a new language to me but i been doing a lot of snooping around the forum before actually posting and since advance is having a really good promotion right now i might pick up some Spec V Brembo remans and see how that works out, have to source some bigger wheels first though.

Hey man the pics are up! To be honest I don't know what RR means still learning the language but I already have something in the works performance wise so I'm trying to piece together cosmetic/suspension setup I came to the conclusion the loose/soft feeling I'm getting from front end is my struts are blown so I wanna do a whole refresh bushings/struts and I have a set of tein springs I can throw on a set of struts get a feel for the lower side of the g20

RR is the roller rocker sr20de motor. .. some, including myself, refer to it a a stroller walker motor in its stock form

The RR motor has a 32 bit ecu attached to it that does not like to be modded. I personally have done some crazy things to mine while trying to do egr deletes and other upgrades and only have managed to burn a total of three of these ecm's up...
Now you, coming from a hondah, is probably itchin to throw some mods on

... if you dont want to get crazy just do a nice header, cat back, cams, intake and timing advance and call it a day... if you have some balls pick up a 99 harness, older intake and ecu and the above listed item and rev to 8k

Just remember. .. once u start modding... u won't quit!

K sport coilovers they might be pricey but yu get what you pay for! Or tien shocks n struts

I've always had the itch to mod cars I just always felt a connection with Hondas but the community really drove me away from that scene but like I said I have plans for the performance side of the car don't wanna post what it is cause it's not set in stone yet right now I wanna get the car running good and safe fix up all the loose ends then I'll jump on the itch to go faster

I already have tien springs thinking about picking up some OE replacement struts to put them on for the time being then getting full one piece coilovers down the road just not sure which route I can go that will retain the smooth luxurious ride the stock ones offer with the lower more aggressive look
