Best brand for Starter Motors?
Just wondering if anyone had any experience with starter motors... i think mine is officially dead.. it would turn on after multiple turns of the key or if i'd roll the car, but no more!

I cant seem to find OEM parts unless they're used or ridiculously expensive, which I don't want to lean towards... i found a list below for a parts store
Does anyone know which would be best? are the prices reasonable?
also, what does "permanent magnet gear reduction" mean?

Pick up a used OEM starter. Preferably from a p10. The older ones seemed to last longer. If you are going the remanned route and you are a DIY'er I would get the cheapest one possible with the best warranty.
P10 starters fit P11s ok?
I just changed the starter in my P11 and replaced it with a remanufactured Hitachi by a compant named Duralast. It has a lifetime warranty and was $135.00.
