Best choice brand for a lower control arm?

1377 Views 10 Replies 6 Participants Last post by  2_Liter_Turbo
I have a '99 g20t and I need a new driver side LCA and I'm not sure what brand to choose out of Mevotech, Deeza, Dorman, and Raybestos, or any others.
What's the best option?

Any help is appreciated.

why not just replace the bushing instead of the whole control arm?
the entire arm is bent lol lets just say im an idiot
Oem.
$220 for oem vs $106 for the Raybestos, is it really that much better to be more than double the price?
In my non-professional experience, OEM is the best. I recently helped a friend try to replace an LCA on his 99 G20... The part wasn't event close to fitting. Like an inch off. I also went aftermarket for my CRV and the shit still makes noise and feels like crap. If you can afford it, for most parts, OEM or bust.
I am going to be selling a set of non oem from that company in England. let me know if your interested.

The raybestos professional grade is as good and mabe even beter than oem, believe me. And its 88 on rock auto.my whole front end including upper control arms with inner and outer tie rods are professional grade also.
And with the amount of drop some of you guys have, not even the oem will last to long.
I think I might actually have an OEM 99 g20 arm (at the time we ended up replacing the whole arm but in reality, it just needs the bushing and ball joint replaced)
Dorman is Chinese crap, just did one on my buddy's B13 SE-R. I always recommend OEM if feasible.
