I've just had a Blaupunkt San Remo CD 32 fitted to replace the stock radio/cassette in my '95 Primera. I took the car to a local car superstore to have the head unit fitted and all was fine for the first two weeks then it started to develop problems. The CD has a removable front panel and if you touched it in certain areas the display would cut out or going over a large bump in the road would make the unit power down. Took it back, got a new unit fitted but going for a spin in the country tonight and went over a bump and the thing totally cut out on me again. I'm just wondering if this could be a wiring fault maybe with the wiring harness they had to fit? Anybody else had problems with these units?

Any help appreciated!

Cheers,
G.

well if u didnt get a new unit i would say that the face was lose. that happens sometimes where the 2 circuits meet(one on face and one on cd) since u got a new unit, check the harness. make sure they are all cripted secure. if u want to make for sure, recrimp the power cable.
