Does the Bluebird SSS AWD SR20DET with the FMIC have the same clutch assembly as the US spec SR20DE?
Basically, if I was to buy one of these engines and it came with a new clutch, would I be able to attach the SR20DE tranny right up to it or would I have to swap the flywheel and clutch assembly with mine?

Calling on Geo or JGYCustoms on this one. :)

I don't know if they are the same or different.

Jason might be able to answer this one. I've never personally seen a manual Bluebird SSS DET.

No so fast there GTA_G20. That is what I thought until I was presented with this:

AND this

Bam! A 5 Speed AWD SR20DET Bluebird SSS. According to the article, the '90-'92 Bluebird came with the option of a CA18DET w/TMIC or a SR20DET w/FMIC. The seats look like the earlier classic SE-R seats as well.

See, I am wondering because there is a list member on the sr20deforum that bought one and was asking for help on identifying which DET it is.

Almost all are automatics, but not all. I've never seen a manual, but I know people have gotten them.
